Glasgow Memory Clinic are looking for volunteers who may be suitable to take part in our most recent study, Anavex.
Anavex is a phase 3 clinical trial for a new treatment designed to improve cognitive function, sleep, behavioral and psychological symptoms in people with a diagnosis of mild cognitive impairment or early-stage mild dementia due to Alzheimer’s.
The study provides the opportunity for volunteers, with cognitive symptoms due to Alzheimer’s, to take a tablet with breakfast, each morning, for a 12 month period, whilst receiving regular health monitoring
You or a loved one may be able to participate in this study if you/they:
- Are between 50-80 years of age
- Are experiencing memory loss, or have been diagnosed with:
- MCI (Mild Cognitive Impairment)/MCI-AD, or
- Probable or Early Alzheimer’s disease, or
- Mild-Moderate Alzheimer’s disease
- Have a study partner who can assist with study participation
