Clinic Supports Erskine

Clinic Supports Erskine

Glasgow Memory Clinic is, for the third year running, providing sponsorship for the Erskine Military Ball. The annual Erskine Military Ball is the charity’s premier fundraising event of the year.

Dr Fraser Inglis FRCP (Glas, Edin) Consultant Physician and Director of Glasgow Memory Clinic  said  ‘Erskine is our chosen charity and we are delighted  once again to be able to provide support  to this outstanding organisation’.

Founded in 1916, Erskine has provided nursing and medical care for former members of our Armed Forces through two world wars and the more recent conflicts and peace keeping initiatives of the twentieth and twenty first centuries. Re-building shattered lives, restoring dignity and providing first class care to ex-Service men and women both young and old have been the cornerstones on which Erskine has built an unrivalled reputation

The Erskine Military Ball is a glittering, black tie event with a unique military theme and a variety of live entertainment will be held on Friday 17th September at the splendid Mar Hall Golf & Spa Resort in Bishopton.

Mar Hall, the former Erskine Hospital building with its historic links to the charity, will provide an impressive backdrop to a night to remember. The Military Ball is the perfect opportunity to entertain clients and colleagues – or simply to have fun with your friends.

The Military Ball is hugely important to Erskine, as it raises a significant part of the funds needed to sustain it’s charitable work, providing the high-quality care that Scotland’s ex-Service men and women need and deserve. Erskine receive no government or lottery funding, income generated by this fundraising event is crucial.
